However I haven't found a solution to toggle a bulb with a tag, and instead you need two tags, one to turn the bulb on and one to turn it off. I have used tags in combination with hue. However I haven't found a solution to toggle a bulb with a tag, and instead you need two tags, one to turn the bulb on and one to turn it off. I've used both, Llama (like tasker) with custom actions when the tag is detected and LampShade's NFC feature.You can use one tag to turn the light on, and another to turn the light off - but you don't use a tag to "turn the light on at noon", you just develop an app (or find one in Play) to turn the particular device on at noon (and the same thing for turning it off at midnight). I have Google speakers in every room, too, but using voice control seems unwieldy to me (different commands for different rooms). So, if I walk through my apartment the lights will come on in each room, they are timed to switch off on their own. Now, with the NFC tags I can switch off all the lights except for the lights of the room I'm in.
In shortcut, you have to create an automation with nfc trigger. Then here, do a shortcut that turn on or off your lights With the help of NFC tags you can change the state of your bulbs or you can also assign the NFC tags to specific bulbs and since the device will be "checked in" with the specific NFC.
