However--it doesn't automatically OPEN as most devices would, and it doesn't show up under "this PC".The Smartcard Reader reads the data off a Smartcard and into Encore Pro. Respironics uses a specifically built reader, the Infineer DT-3500 reader manufactured by Mako Technologies to read the Smartcards into Encore Pro. No other card reader has been found to work with Encore Pro. I used to use the Mako DT3500 card reader for my M-series smart card. The honest truth is if you're still using a M-series machine, you need to upgrade. Insurance will cover it if you have it, and lots of people fail CPAP and sell a decent machine cheap. Will Mako Infineer DT3500 card reader work with the narrower Resmed smart card? This card seems to fit on the left side of the reader while the full size Respironics card fills the slot.
