WARNING: Currently there is no known way of resetting the spool if you have a Da Vinci Mini (w)! And if you have Da Vinci Jr (w) with a Firmware above 2.2.7 it is also not possible to reset the NFC Chip. If you have a late model android you can get the contents of the rfid tag using the NXP Tag Info app. I'll start by posting mine: Tag is unused, not installed in printer prior to read.I recently bought a jr 1.0 and did not know about the nfc reader. I have seen multiple ways but all are outdated plz help

The good news: I was able to successfully, permanently lock my original NFC tag that came with the starter spool. The bad news: That card is already marked as empty. I have another spool that I'm about half way through but I don't have the balls to . I have been seeing a lot of videos on how to reset the nfc chip with android. The problem is my 3F1J0 NFC Filament TAG J3 tag can't use any android apps because I don't have android. Can you find any way to fix this without any price? I have followed this process and can confirm that my Da Vinci Mini w+ is now on firmware 3.2.7 and prints without an NFC tag present.
