Disney has already said they won't store personal information on the band. There will be no information about you or your credit card or your park ticket. But the band is an identity that has been tied to your MDE account and any tickets, reservations and other info you have stored or linked there.
A MagicBand+ can be linked to only one MyDisney account at a time and can be assigned only one ticket or pass at a time. A ticket or pass will remain assigned to the band until the ticket or pass expires, has been fully used, or until a new park admission is assigned to the band. Press button once and hold til it vibrates once. The light should be blue. Once blue, just tap the back of your phone to the front of magicband. This immediately paired each band for me. I'm assuming your phone will need to be NFC capable. I got all bands connected and updated within 10 mins. Disney's tech support didn't tell me this fix.
